We had to shut down the weekly group ride at Fiddlin' Fish back in March. It's been a crazy few months and we have sure missed riding with everyone!
BeersNGears and Fiddlin' Fish have agreed to give this ride a-go once again. However, as you might imagine, it will look a little different in order to keep everyone safe and comply with COVID guidance.
Here's what you need to know...
We ride on Mondays at 6:30pm starting October 26. Come a few minutes early to get settled and hear the pre-ride announcements.
Meet at the Fiddlin' Fish overflow parking lot across from the brewery on 8th street where we can spread out and discuss the route. You can park here too.
The route will be a little shorter than normal (<10 miles) and relies heavily on greenways and quiet streets, again so the group can spread out safely.
If lots of folks show up we'll break up into smaller groups so we can maintain safe distance while riding.
Ride Like a Fish will continue to be a no-drop ride so no one is left behind.
Masks are required for our pre-ride meeting and for when we return to the brewery so don't forget to bring your mask with you!
When we return to the brewery, all COVID regulations will apply to the group....masks on when you are away from the table, no moving furniture, no groups of more than 8 per table.
Finally, we ask that if you or anyone in your household is experiencing COVID symptoms that you do not attend the ride.
Obviously, everything is subject to change and we may have to tweak things a bit but we're excited to get rolling again.
We hope to see you at Ride Like a Fish one Monday soon!
